On top of this the tropical weather is always warm which makes screaming through the sky at 200kph more comfortable than most places.
Jump times and accommodation pick ups
We pick up 2 to 4 passengers at a time. It is our aim to land our passengers as close as possible to their Mission Beach accommodation. We will have various pick up times throughout the day to minimize waiting time for our passengers.
The aircraft ride is something in itself, the higher you go the longer it is of course. There is a Perspex door to allow for maximum visual experience of the incredible views of the Island Coast.
About 2000ft before your jump height, your Jumpmaster will tighten up your harness. You’ll notice your heart rate accelerating but this is nothing compared to when the door opens.
Your freefall depends on how high you go and your parachute will be activated by the jumpmaster at around 5000ft. From there it’s a leisurely fly around one of the most beautiful places in the world with the landing being made on the beach as near to your Mission Beach accommodation as we can get.
All going well, we deliver you, a changed person back to your accommodation two hours after we picked you up.

Our professional and qualified Tandem Skydive Masters will guide you out of our plane for a tandem skydive above one of the most beautiful scenes in the world. From over 10,000 feet in the air, whilst skydiving with our tandem skydive masters, you will have views of 14km of golden beaches, lush rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef, tropical islands and Cassawong Cottages.
But lets get real! You are not only here for the views. Adrenaline will flow through your body, you will experience 60 seconds of freefall skydiving, with our tandem skydive masters, that will be the most exhilarating experience of your life!!
You have the choice of Skydiving from 2 different altitudes; 10,000 feet will give you 30 seconds of freefall skydiving and 14,000 feet will have you freefall skydiving for 60 seconds! All with the safety of being strapped to one of our tandem skydive masters.
No prior training is necessary. Just come to our office and we will teach you everything you need to know for a tandem skydive before we take you off in the plane. You will be strapped to one of our qualified tandem skydive masters who will guide you all the way from cloud 9 back to earth!!

10000 feet (3030 m)
This height has you freefalling for 30 seconds! Plenty of time to enjoy the awesome sensation of freefalling, before you take in the spectacular views around you whilst parachuting to the beach below!
14000 feet (4242 m)
This is the ultimate in high excitement. If you’re only going to skydive once, then why not go all the way at 14,000 ft?? From this height you will experience 60 seconds of freefalling before parachuting over tropical islands and the Great Barrier Reef to land on the beach below.
Please book at least three days in advance with your hosts at Cassawong Cottages here in Mission Beach to avoid disappointment. Wear shorts, T-shirts and joggers.
You should be fit, weigh less than 100 kgs and be at least 14 years old (persons under 18 require a parent/guardian's authorisation). 24 hours must have elapsed since any deep water dive. Goggles can be worn over glasses or contact lenses. Eftpos facilities are available.
